This room houses the telephone equipment as well as the internet equipment for a hospital. The equipment is up on a raised floor. This foundation has been leaking for over 15 years. We started the project by injecting hydrophobic urethane around the perimeter to fill any voids and cracks. After the materials were set up, we installed a Xypex base cove around the entire room. We brought the cove up on the wall approximately 8” and on to the floor 8”. We then cleaned the floor and prepped it for a Xypex Concentrate coat. We mixed the Xypex Concentrate and poured it over the prepared floor and sprayed the new coating with Gamacure. This room went from 5” of standing water to completely dry in less than a week.
